" From the Adjutant General's report: " On the 31st of October, 1864, this regiment was stationed at Deeatur, Ala., garrisoning that place until November 24th, when it marched to Murfreesboro, Tenn. Arriving there on the 27th it composed a part of the force at that point during the siege of Nashville and Murfreesboro
