Twenty Fourth Regiment Infantry
In this affair the brigade marched over 150 miles
in five days.
The regiment, again in command of Colonel Morrow and then in the 1st brigade, 1st division, 1st corps, soon entered on the Pennsylvania campaign.
At Gettysburg, the great battle of the rebellion, Michigan troops were in large proportion. There the Confederate army of Virginia, and the Federal army of the Potomac, meet face to face;
