Civil War-U.S.

Twenty-First Regiment Infantry

"At about 11 o'clock A. M. of the 8th instant your order was received to hasten for ward with the rear of your brigade, consisting of the 21st Michigan, 88th Illinois, and 24th Wisconsin, cousin regiments, to where you were then engaged, some two miles distant.
