Third Regiment Infantry
From the report the following facts relative to the 3d and 5th Michigan infantry, the two Michigan regiments in this division:
3d Infantry. —Thirty-five received the original award. Of these one was killed, five wounded, one absent on leave, two absent sick, one dead, and twenty-five were present for duty.
5 th Infantry. — Thirty-five received the original award. Of these four were killed, ten wounded, two absent on leave, and nineteen present for duty. "
