TENTH REGIMENT INFANTRY

Every order was obeyed promptly, and there was no indication of confusion or demoralization. The 10th lost in this engagement twenty-two killed, and fifty-six wounded. Eight of the wounded fell into the hands of the enemy, and seven that received no wounds.
Sergeant Charles P. Stewart, and privates John H. Hope, Joseph Wolfe, and one or two others, who were reported as wounded or missing were killed. Fourteen including myself were taken to Andersonville, eleven of whom died in that prison,
