American Civil War
Sixth Regiment Infantry
On the 12th the 6th made a raid up the Jackson railroad, destroying the enemy's camp at Pangipaho, capturing 60 prisoners, burning two bridges, a large gun-carriage factory, a shoe factory, and a tannery used by the rebel authorities, the value of this property being estimated at upwards of $400, 000.
