Seventh Regiment Infantry

On the 27th, in command of Lieutenant Colonel Geo. W. La Pointe, it moved to the left, near Fort Siebert, and built quarters, and on December 2d, with its division, moved to the left of the line and relieved the 1st division, 5th corps, and then moved again to the left to Fort Emery, near Fort Siebert, on the 6th, where it was engaged on picket and fatigue duty until February 5th, 1865, when it moved, with its brigade, to Hatcher's Run, and was then placed in the skirmish line, when it assisted in driving the enemy's skirmishers, taking two prisoners.
