SEVENTEENTH REGIMENT INFANTRY
Back o'er the heaps of mangled men,
We move as shuts the day, And there recline upon our arms,
To watch the night away; And as to heaven's calm, peaceful vault,
We turn the weary eye, We feel that we have struck one blow
For God and Liberty.
