The Odd fellows Hall was a large two-story brick building in the center of the village, immediately opposite the stables occupied by the enemy's horses, and he had thrown himself into it, barricaded the lower windows and doors, and was firing from the second story windows. All the Kentucky and Pennsylvania troops having followed in pursuit of the enemy and several of the escort having been wounded in the attack, our whole force left in Lebanon, including staff officers, did not exceed fifteen effective men.
