The following were the casualties among the commissioned officers of the regiments of the brigade during their term of service: FIRST CAVALRY. Colonel Thornton F. Brodhead. Died September 2, 1862, of wounds received in action at Bull Bun, Va., August 30,1862. Captain Augustus F. Buhl. Died September 15,1864, of wounds received in action August 25, 1864.
