Eleventh Regiment Infantry

Leaving here two com-missioned officers and 150 men—veterans and recruits whose terms had not expired—the regiment started for Michigan on the 18th, arriving at Sturgis on the 25th. On the 30th of September it was mustered out of service.
The regiment took part in engagements at Gallatm, Tenn., August 13, 1862;
Fort Riley, Tenn., September 1, 1862;
Stone River, Tenn., December 29-31, 1862;
January 2, 3, 1863;
Elk River, Tenn., July 1, 1863;
Davis Gross Roads, Tenn., September 11, 1863;
