Eleventh Regiment Infantry
Moving in pursuit of the enemy after the battle of Mission Ridge the 11th, in command of command of Captain P. H. Keegan, still serving in Stoughton's brigade of Palmer's corps, assisted in capturing Ferguson's battery. The brigade, soon after dark on the evening of the 25th of November, crossed Pea Vine creek on a hastily constructed bridge, and immediately pushed forward to attack the retreating enemy, while two other brigades were in echelon to cover the movement.
