it took part in the engagements near Lost Mountain, on the 9th and 11th, and on the 14th shelled the enemy's works. It was engaged in skirmishing almost daily until the 22d, when it took part in the engagement of Moss House. It was in the battle at Seesaw Mountain, on the 24th, having three wounded, and on the 1st was engaged near Marietta. On the 8th of July it drove a rebel battery from its position at the Ohattahoochee river, the enemy abandoning one of their guns. The battery crossed the Ohattahoochee on the 11th of July, and assisted in driving the enemy out of Decatur on the 18th and 19th.
