11th Cavalry
On the 22, crossing the Savannah river, reached Maxwell's Farm, S. C.; on the 23d, Greenville, and on the 25th, Asheville, N. C, and Greenville, Tenn., on the 27th; Strawberry Plains on the 29th, Knoxville on June 3d, and arrived at Lenoir Station June 4th, and encamped until the 24th, when the regiment moved by rail to Pulaski, and on the 20th July it was consolidated with the 8th Michigan Cavalry.
The regiment was engaged with the enemy at Pound Gap, Ky., May 17, 1864; Hazel Green, Ky., May 20, 1864; Mount Sterling, Ky., June 9, 1864; Lexington, Ky., June 10, 1864; Georgetown, Ky., June 13, 1864; Cynthiana, Ky., June 12, 1864; Point Burnside, Ky., August 30, 1864; McCormick's Farm, Ky., September 23, 1864; Laurel Mountain, Va., September 29, 1864; Bowen's Farm, Va., September 30, and October 1, 1864; Saltville, Va., October 2, 1864;
